Season of Firsts
Well, we have survived August so far. Busy isn't event the word. Not as crazy as this past May, but a close second. August has been a good kind of busy, and we are trying to avoid getting caught up in the chaos and focus on enjoying the moments. First time in "Big City" (XKidz City, the kid's program at church). Sophie was over-the-moon excited about moving into "Big City," and the "welcome sno-cones did not disappoint! First Pet Oh, my! This poor guy was found on a walk by Sophie and a babysitter! She begged to keep him, and, for some unknown reason, I said yes! Of course, Sophie forgot to put him back in his crate on the Monday before her first day of kindergarten began, so we had no "pet" to fill out the "pet page" over her "All About Me" homework!
