Getting Better and Getting Ready

I am hoping that our family is "on the mend." This has been the sickest winter/early spring that I can remember having. Matt and I both had a terrible case of the flu in late January. The kids made it through the winter months, only to get sick in March! Will had his first fever followed by an allergic reaction, and last week, Sophie experienced her first "sick appointment" in three years!

We are about to enter one of the busiest seasons of our lives, so I hope that everyone is going to get and stay well! In the next few weeks, we have...
  •  three wedding parties for Aunt Tori and Uncle Derek
  • a busy week in Tennessee including my best friend, Ash's surgery on her hand (She has a brand new baby, so I am hoping to be able to help her since she will be minus a hand for a while...)
  • an Easter egg hunt in Tennessee
  • an Easter egg hunt and spring festival in our neighborhood (which we will leave TN at the crack of dawn to make it home for!)
  • Easter
  • Wedding Weekend - a bridesmaids' luncheon, rehearsal dinner, wedding, (complete with Sophie's first opportunity to be a flower girl and Will's first attempt at "ringman")
  • Sophie's dress rehearsal then performance at Master's Academy of Fine Arts (she will be Mrs. Noah and already has her lines and song memorized!)
  • Mother's Day
  • Tato's Birthday
  • Aunt Hope's graduation from highschool
  • A trip to Whitestone for me and Matt (our first time leaving Will to go away by ourselves)
  • Our best friend Jack's 4th birthday party
All of this before June 1! Not to mention, that these are just the events that involve our entire family, Matt is also in one of his busiest seasons at church and has a full event calendar with the Student Ministry at Crossroads! I am truly praying that we will all be well to enjoy this super-busy, but super-fun few weeks!
